Itinerary
Upon your arrival at the Airport/Railway station, you will be met and welcomed by our representative/driver. After around 5 hours of driving, you will reach Gangtok. Check-in into your hotel room and get refreshed. The evening is left to your leisure where you can explore around the street of MG Marg to get acquainted with the local lifestyle. Today is a day to explore Gangtok. After a good breakfast at the foothills of the Himalayas, you will start your journey of exploring the hidden beauties of Gangtok. * Tashi View Point from where you can admire the beauty of the guardian deity Mt Kanchenjunga and its group of snow-capped mountain peaks. * Ganesh Tok is an ancient temple of Lord Ganesha and also a spectacular viewpoint to have a view of Gangtok town. *Enchey Monastery is a 200 years old monastery belonging to the Nyingma order of Vajrayana Buddhism. * Dro Dul Chorten is one of the biggest stupas of Sikkim constructed in the year 1945. The stupa was built by Trulshik Rinpoche and is encircled with 108 prayers wheel. *Directory of Handicrafts and Handloom where you will get to know about local handicrafts. You can also buy locally made artifacts such as Thanka painting, traditional carpets, Wooden carved colorful sculptures, and many more *Institute of Tibetology where you can learn about the rich culture and life of Tibet. It houses an innumerable rich collection of studies and valuable materials. It is one of the most significant institutions in the world where research on religion, history, language, art, and culture of the people of Tibetan culture is done. *Banjhakri Falls is a 100 feet tall waterfall amidst the dense green forest. After breakfast gets ready for an adventurous and sublime experience through one of the highest motorable mountain roads to Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir, and Nathula Pass. * Tsomgo Lake at an elevation of 3753 m above sea level is a pristine and picturesque glacial lake. It offers breath-taking scenic beauty and is one of the holy lakes in Sikkim believed to have healing qualities. It is also home to many migratory birds * Baba Mandir is a holy shrine named after Indian Army captain Harbhajan Singh who died at the early age of 22 in the Indo - Pak war of 1965. He is still believed to be with us even after his tragic death. *Nathula Pass is the second highest pass at an altitude of 4310 m in the Dongkya Range of the Himalayas. It connects Sikkim to China.
